Chrissy Teigen’s first baby shower when she was pregnant with baby Luna was a star-studded bash. Attendees included Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Malika Haq, and celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin. Guests dined on the junk food Chrissy craved during her pregnancy, such as Sausage McMuffins and hash browns, chicken and waffle muffins and cinnamon rolls, as well as more delicate offerings such as omelettes, yogurt parfaits in glass jars with berries and mint, banana and pecan stuffed French toast and kale salads.
BLAKE LIVELY
Blake announced her pregnancy in 2014 on her lifestyle website, Preserve, choosing to upload her carefully-curated baby shower pictures on there, too. The rustic-style event seemed like an autumnal wonderland, perfect for welcoming a late-in-the-year baby. ‘Before experiencing the joy of 3am screams, seemingly impossible amounts of poop and having a favourite shirt covered in reflux…there are presents to open, onesies to dye, there is cake to serve, advice to be shared and all around celebration to be had’ she wrote at the time.
KIM KARDASHIAN
For her second baby shower in 2015 to celebrate the arrival of Saint, Kim hosted a Troop Beverly Hills-themed sleepover party. Echoing the 1989 film, the sisters set up teepees inside the house and sat down around a fireplace to drink hot chocolate and eat chocolate chip cookies. Kendall, Kylie, Khloe and Kourtney each shared Instagram photos of the Kardashian-Jenner sisters wearing striped pyjamas. Other celebrity guests included models Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne.
ROSIE HUNTINGTON-WHITELY
The model and actress, who had her first child with fiancé Jason Statham in 2017, held a beautiful garden party baby shower for close friends and family members, with a yellow and pink colour scheme. Naked cakes with white frosting were on the menu for the alfresco spread, which was held at an undisclosed location in Los Angeles.
KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN
Kourtney’s sisters threw her a fabulous baby shower while she was pregnant with Reign, inspired by her all-time favourite movie, Breakfast At Tiffany’s. The luncheon boasted gift-boxes containing mini-tiaras for all the guests, extravagant cream flowers displays on the table, and even a cake in the shape of a stack of Tiffany boxes.
GWEN STEFANI
Gwen celebrated her third pregnancy in 2014 at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles. The décor was simple and elegant enough – white roses placed around the room and blue-icing doughnuts and candy for the guests to snack on – but the all-star guest list included the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, Nicole Richie, Kate Beckinsale and Jessica Alba.
KYLIE JENNER
Kylie kept her pregnancy under wraps for nine whole months, revealing it only after baby Stormi was born. In the video she shared on Instagram, after explaining to fans why she had gone MIA, we can see parts of her charming baby shower, which was slumber party-themed, with pink roses, chocolate fountains, and guests in pretty matching pyjama outfits.
Khloe Kardashian
Khloe Kardashian, who is due any day now, celebrated the impending arrival of her first child in March with a baby shower to top all baby showers. Held at the Grand Ballroom at the Hotel Bel Air in Los Angeles, it included thousands of pink flowers from floor to ceiling, hundreds of pink balloons, a neon sign using mum Kris Jenner’s handwriting saying ‘Baby Thompson’, and even huge animal topiaries at the venue. Khloe herself turned up in a blush silk robe and custom hand-beaded cocktail dress, and was surrounded by her many famous friends and siblings.
