1. Bettina Cassar
Bettina Cassar – one half of The New Victorians – wanted “something with sleeves, with a nice back and nothing too elaborate (no sequins please)” for her April wedding. She paired her warm cream-coloured dress from Kenjo Bridal with long loose locks and a flower crown for the perfect boho wedding style.

3. Stefania Taylor
Stefania Taylor had two wedding dresses – a simple summer dress for the trip to the registrar’s office in September, followed by a princess-style dress from Wedding Bells in Valletta for the celebration in the family field a couple of days later. She styled her red hair in a low bun, with a pretty white headpiece.

4. Karin Martin
Karin Martin wore a handmade ivory flapper dress for her Vegas elopement, which she bought online from a specialist store. “It was a bit of a gamble to buy without trying on, but it fit like a glove,” she says. She completed the Roaring Twenties look with soft curls and subtle makeup, which perfectly fit the wedding’s vintage Americana style.

8. Eliza Calleja
Eliza wanted an off-the-shoulder wedding dress, but couldn’t find the right one, so a strapless gown had to be customised for this purpose. “I had to do fittings months apart, every time I was in Malta, and had to order additional lace for the sleeves, but in the end, with the help of a very good seamstress and amazing staff at Alamango Bridal, we managed to pull it off.”

9. Janice Pulo
Janice’s dress and veil had a distinctly vintage Spanish look. She wore a delicate lace dress that flattered her petite figure, and a long, traditional, mantilla-style veil. Wearing only the lightest of makeup, the bride’s dark hair was gathered in an elegant loose bun.
