Jennifer Lopez told us all not to be fooled by the rocks that she’s got – but it’s hard not to looking at her brand new, HUGE engagement ring.
Former professional baseball player, Alex Rodriguez, proposed to his girlfriend of two-years, super star Jennifer Lopez, last Saturday with an emerald-cut diamond ring so big it just might blind you. The ring is believed to be somewhere between 10 and 15 carats, and upwards of $2million. It is a perfectly cut diamond, in a shape that seems to be favoured by many celebs, including Amal Clooney and Beyonce.
The couple took to their own Instagram pages to share the same photo with a different message soon after the proposal, officially breaking the news to the world. JLo spoke with many heart emojis, while A-Rod wrote the classic, “she said yes.”
The couple started dating in February 2017, although they had met many years previously, in 2005, at a baseball game. It wasn’t until around 11 years later that they bumped into each other again and began their relationship, which is now a marriage in the making.
Among the slew of congratulatory messages from fans, The Ellen Show host Ellen DeGeneres left a comment on JLo’s photo – “Yes. I'll be your Maid of Honor.” We can see it already!
Jennifer Lopez was previously married to singer Marc Anthony for 10 years, with whom she has two children. Alex Rodriguez also has two children from his previous marriage to Cynthia Scurtis.
