Usain Bolt’s list of athletic accomplishments is long and impressive, and now, the record-holding sprinter is about to add a huge life achievement to it: becoming a father for the first time. The Olympic gold medallist has announced that he and girlfriend Kasi Bennett are expecting their first child together.
“I just want to say a KING or QUEEN is about to be HERE,” the 33-year-old said, captioning a post that shows the glowing mum-to-be cradling her baby bump.
Kasi also shared some shots on her own Instagram account posing on a yacht in the same gorgeous red dress she is seen wearing in Usain’s post, surrounded by multi-coloured balloons. “Our biggest blessing. Our greatest celebration… Our golden child. Coming soon…,” she wrote.
Usain and Kasi became an official couple back in 2016 but many think they were dating years before this. And despite being one of the world’s most famous athletes, he has managed to keep his romance under wraps.
