Reality Netflix show ‘Love is Blind’ brings 30 singles together to blindly date each other, with some couples eventually deciding to take their relationship to the next level…
In season 2 of this Netflix hit, two of these couples got engaged, however their blossoming romance never got aired.
Caitlin McKee and Joey Miller were one of these two couples. They took to Instagram to explain how they too made the ultimate commitment and got engaged.
“What you didn't see is that I also found love in the pods and left the show with a fiancé”, Caitlin wrote.
“[We] got engaged without ever seeing each other and had an amazing summer and fall together without all the cameras”, Joey continued.
Unfortunately, the two never got married and after a few months together, they called it quits.
Kara Williams and Jason Beaumont’s relationship and eventual engagement also did not make the final cut…
“Getting to see her on the red carpet was without a doubt the best feeling I’ve ever had in my entire life”, Jason wrote on Instagram.
Unfortunately, very much like Joey and Caitlin they too broke off their engagement after some time.
When asked why these two couples were not featured, Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen, told Tudum that they did not have the resources or the camera crews to film each couple. Therefore, some unfortunate cuts had to be made.
Did you think these couples should have been featured?
