British singing sensation Ellie Goulding married Sotheby’s art dealer Caspar Jopling in a traditional ceremony in Yorkshire, England, over the weekend, with a reception reportedly held at Castle Howard after.
The star-studded wedding included British high society, namely royal family members Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and their mother Sarah Ferguson. Ellie Goulding herself was also among the guests at Princess Eugenie’s and Prince Harry’s respective weddings in 2018.
The bride wore an incredible Victorian-style Chloe wedding gown, featuring glass bead adornments and a high ruffled neckline, created by Natacha Ramsay-Levi. Royal photographer Matt Porteous captured an official photo of the couple inside York Minster Cathedral.
In a comment about her dress to entertainment news portal Just Jared, the musician said, "I was so thrilled and excited to collaborate with Natacha at Chloé on my wedding dress. I have loved the brand and their incredible team for years, so it only seemed right for Chloé to play a big part of this special day." The gown was “hand embroidered with White Roses of York and subtly embellished with white glass beads.”
The bride added a sweet touch to her veil, which had the bride and groom’s initials embroidered on the silk tulle.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
