From 4 to 5 - Kim Kardashian and Kanye West welcome third child
The couple had a baby girl via surrogate.
Yesterday afternoon, Kim Kardashian announced via her website that she and husband Kanye West have welcomed their third child, a baby daughter, who was born on January 15 and weighed 7lbs 6oz.
The reality TV star broke the news on www.kimkardashianwest.com, saying “Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl. We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care. North and Saint are especially thrilled to welcome their baby sister.”
Kim had previously spoken publicly about having trouble conceiving after the birth of her second child, Saint West, the younger brother of North West, and about experiencing serious complications during both pregnancies, leaving them with no option but to expand their family via a surrogate.
