So close to double digits! The royal heir to the throne is growing up - fast.
In honour of Prince George’s ninth birthday, his royal parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (Prince William and Kate Middleton), shared a portrait of the birthday boy on social media.
This is a tradition the family has upheld over the years with all of their children.
“George is turning 9,” the caption on social media read.
The portrait captures a handsome Prince George donning a toothy smile whilst on a sandy beach. The young Royal was born on 22nd July 2013 at St Mary’s Hospital in London.
He is William and Kate’s firstborn and thus, first in line to the throne after his father, followed by his younger siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
