Ira Losco Crushes the Rumours & Announces Pregnancy News

Following weeks of speculation, Ira Losco took to her facebook page on Sunday to put the rumours to bed once and for all and announce to her loyal fan base that she’s expecting her first child with boyfriend Sean Gravina.

There could have been no better day to make the announcement than on Mother’s Day itself, with the songstress admitting to the world that she is very excited to be celebrating her first Mother’s day as a mother-to-be, amid a flurry of rehearsals for her Eurovision performance tomorrow. Ira and Sean expressed in an interview with TVM that they’re grateful to those who have respected their privacy, and are excited to be embarking on this journey together.

In her words:

“Dear everyone, my second rehearsals done and dusted and comments seem to be positive. I'm so happy you've all been part of this journey with me and I'm happy to have shared many important moments in my life with you all. I'm ecstatic that my boyfriend Sean, family and friends are here to support me all the way. To add to all the excitement, I'm also celebrating my First Mother's Day as a mother-to-be. Sean Gravina and I are very, very happy to finally share this news with you all which some of you might have guessed already. We never thought we would have been so blessed with such beautiful news accompanying this Eurovision experience, which has given me so much strength both as an artist and as a private person. I would like to take this opportunity to wish all the mothers of the world a happy Mother's Day, kudos to all of you! Most of all to my mother who has been my rock through it all!”

Ira’s announcement was followed by a heartfelt message from her boyfriend, Sean, who said:

“Firstly I'd like to thank the people who have given us our privacy. It's a delicate time and a lot of pressure. We are expecting our first child and we are extremely excited about it. Ira and the baby's health are my number one priority at the moment and that's one of the main reasons why I am here with her in Sweden to make sure she is A–ok. I would like to wish every other mother to-be and mothers a happy Mother's Day, especially my mum love you xxx Thank you God”
