Ira Losco talks Motherhood & Falling in Love with Baby Harry in an Exclusive Style on Sunday Interview
This issue is not one to miss!
Ira Losco had more than an army of fans behind her when she competed in last year’s Eurovision Song Contest – not only because the nation wanted her to take the top spot, but because she was representing her country while nearing the end of her second trimester, making her participation that much more admirable to many. But, as Ira admits, dealing with so many different emotions since the start of her pregnancy was not easy.
In an exclusive interview with Style on Sunday, published this Sunday with The Times, Ira – who graces the cover together with her bundle of joy – gushes about her baby boy Harry and talks about the realities of being a working mother.
“The beginning was quite hard, as I realised I now had another role to fit in,” she says. “As anyone with a busy schedule will tell you, there’s a lot to juggle to begin with, never mind with a tiny baby to look after too! But I have enjoyed the challenge of working everything out and creating that new role.”
Looking back, Ira admits that she struggled with the unplanned element of her pregnancy, especially in the beginning. “I am a big planner,” she says, “so when anything happens that isn’t quite on schedule, it knocks me for six… and Harry did exactly that!”
From keeping mum about her pregnancy throughout Eurovision preparations to a traumatic, emergency birth experience, Ira Losco’s interview is not one to miss. Get your copy this Sunday!
