Alex Rodriguez’s proposal to Jennifer Lopez, 49, was the kind you only dream would happen to you.
The superstar and mother of two shared photos on her Instagram page of the moment the former athlete, and her now-fiancé, got down on one knee to ask his superstar girlfriend to marry him, and they’re beautiful.
The couple was on holiday in the Bahamas when A-Rod popped the question on 9th March, right by the water on a white sandy beach. JLo was visibly shocked by the proposal, or the size of that ring, we’re not sure.
Rodriguez, 43, also posted a single photo, presumably right after she said yes, of himself putting a ring on his future wife’s finger. “Locking it down. #futuremrsrodriguez,” he wrote.
It wasn’t just news of the couple’s engagement that got fans excited though. A-Rod proposed with an emerald-cut ring believed to be between 10 and 15 carats and worth at least a couple of cool millions. We wouldn’t expect anything less for the sassy star.
This will be JLo’s fourth marriage, following her split with ex-husband Marc Anthony five years ago, who she has twins Max and Emme with, while this will be A-Rod’s second marriage. He also has two children, Ella and Natasha, with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis.
