Singer Julie Zahra and her partner Garett have just become parents to the beautiful Nina Mae, born September 22.

In an interview with Xarabank, Julie, who represented Malta in the Eurovision in 2004 along with Ludwig Galea with the song ‘On Again…Off Again’, said that when she found out she was pregnant with Nina, she almost couldn’t believe the wonderful news. “I was in seventh heaven when I heard her heart beating,” the new mother smiled.

Julie thanked Garett for his continuous support throughout her pregnancy.

“Sometimes, when it comes to pregnancy, we forget that men are just as much a part of it as we are. Garett was and is totally supportive, and I’m not embarrassed to say he’s better at changing nappies than I am,” Julie beamed.
