Kathy Lang, wife of late DJ Ian Lang, took to social media to mark her husband’s first birthday in Heaven following his passing last May.
Ian, otherwise known as The Langy, was the first-ever presenter at local radio station 89.7 Bay.
"Happy first birthday in Heaven, my love. Is there a party in Heaven today to celebrate? Hope you'll be rocking the dance floor and filling the airwaves of Heaven," she wrote.
"On your birthday it's hard for me pretending to be brave, but I found hidden courage, and it helps to see me through. It guides me and protects me, and I know it comes from you. My mind is filled with thoughts of you, and the love we had together grows even stronger. I feel that you are with me in everything I do, so I shall spend your birthday dreaming that you are here," Kathy wrote on what would have been Ian’s 55th birthday.
"I miss you more each day for life is not the same on earth without you, though I know you are safe in Heaven, till one day we'll be together again! Happy birthday my Guardian Angel and love of my life. I love you and miss you dearly," she concluded.
