“My third Child Has Forced Me To Go Back To When I First Became A Mum”

She was crowned European winner of Miss Italia nel Mondo in 1998, but Claudia Calleja considers here three young kids to be her biggest blessing.

Placing first among all competing European countries in Miss Italia nel Mondo in 1998 was a peak in Claudia Calleja’s modelling career. Today, she’s busy organising Miss World Malta and producing local TV show The Client while raising three young kids: Chloe, 11, Kiyan, 9, and Francesco, 7 months.

“Becoming a mother was a blessing and something I’d always looked forward to,” she stated in a recent interview with Style Magazine. “Although I feel like my third child has forced me to go back to when I first became a mother. There’s an eleven- and nine-year gap between Chloe and Kiyan, and Francesco.”

Claudia tells OurWedding about the most satisfying aspects of motherhood: “The pure joy I get from being a special part of my children’s lives, watching them learn, smile and grow, seeing them happy and having them know that I love them unconditionally are all such satisfying moments. Looking at your children, feeling all the love you have for them, and knowing I created them – it's just the most amazing feeling in the world!”

Any special plans for Mother’s Day? “I will be spending Mother’s day with my family – it will be a wonderful, mellow day with my loved ones. I believe this feast is about spending time with the people who matter most, nothing crazy. My man plans the day and we celebrate it with our kids, as well as my mother and mother-in-law – I would never spend Mother’s Day without my kids!”
