After months of speculation that singer Nick Jonas and actress Priyanka Chopra are engaged, the couple have made it official by sharing photos on Instagram of their beautiful Hindu ceremony, held in Priyanka’s native India last weekend.
The 36-year old actress shared photos from the intimate event on Instagram, which was attended by the couple’s closest family members. “Taken… with all my heart and soul,” she wrote in one post.
Priyanka went on to share highlights from the Hindu ceremony, held in Mumbai, with the couple both dressed in stunning, traditional attire.
Priyanka and Nick, 25, reportedly met at last year’s Met Gala, when they attended the fashion event together, both wearing outfits by designer Ralph Lauren. They remained friends, but only (officially) started dating two months ago.
Nick reportedly shut down a Tiffany & Co. store in London to propose to the Bollywood actress on her 36th birthday last July, and popped the question with a gorgeous cushion cut diamond ring, which was revealed for the first time a few days ago on Instagram by Priyanka’s friend and actress, Raveena Tandon.
