Wedding bells are ringing for Princess Beatrice and property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The British royal family will be gathering once again to celebrate the nuptials of yet another family member heading down the aisle. As for the rest of us, here’s everything we know so far.
The princess and her fiancé will be tying the knot on 29th May according to People. It was previously reported that the Queen offered Buckingham Palace for her granddaughter’s wedding reception, but the location of the ceremony hasn’t been publicly announced as yet.
People reported that nearby locations to the palace, such as the Royal Military Chapel could be considered for the ceremony. A source also revealed to People that the wedding would be a “low-key affair.”
The last royal wedding reception to be organised at Buckingham Palace was that of Prince William and Kate Middleton back in 2011.
Beatrice and Mozzi announced their engagement last September, followed by an official announcement by Buckingham Palace which revealed that the ceremony will take place in 2020. The royal couple got engaged during an Italian weekend getaway in early September.
Beatrice’s younger sister Eugenie, who got married last October to Jack Brooksbank, shot some of the couple’s engagement photos. Other engagement photos were shot by photographer Misan Harriman who had the sweetest things to say about the couple.
“Everything clicks when they are together and that’s exactly what my lens captured. It was an honour to observe and document such love.”
