Singing sensation Ellie Goulding got hitched over the weekend in a glorious Yorkshire wedding that had the makings of a fab royal do.
Goulding, 32, and her now-hubby Caspar Jopling, 27, have shared stunning photos from their lavish nuptials that could have easily rivalled the infamous royal weddings held last year.
Ellie Goulding herself surpassed Meghan Markle’s and Princess Eugenie’s two-dress changes, and wowed in FOUR dresses over the course of the day, swapping her high-neck, bespoke Victorian-style Chloe gown for different, sultrier looks.
The couple got married in a formal, religious ceremony at York Minster Cathedral on Saturday with a star-studded congregation.
Stars in attendance included Katy Perry and her beau, Orlando Bloom, as well as James Blunt and Sienna Miller. Royal family members Sarah Ferguson, Princess Eugenie, Jack Brooksbank, Princess Beatrice and her boyfriend Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi were present.
The blushing bride was captured sharing a kiss with her art dealer hubby in front of their reception venue: the stately home Castle Howard, as guests looked on.
The newlyweds were also captured taking to the dancefloor for their first dance, giggling and having fun, with Jopling sweeping his new wife off her feet.
Ellie Goulding’s dresses were designed and tailored by various houses including Chloe for her Victorian-style wedding gown, Stella McCartney for her off-the-shoulder dress that hinted at Meghan Markle’s second wedding dress by the same designer, Ralph & Russo for her ivory beaded top and figure-hugging skirt, and Balmain for her mini dress which she wore later on in the evening.
