It’s been a heartwarming morning indeed, with local actor Antonella Galea Loffreda and her husband Joseph Galea posting touching tributes to their loving relationship, as they celebrate 25 years since they said ‘yes’ to being each other’s forever.
Antonella’s post starts off with her memory of that special day, as she left her mother’s house to join in marriage and start a family with Joseph, reminiscing on the plans they’d made during their relationship leading up to the wedding, saying it was ‘The biggest and best decision of our lives’. She goes on to list the many reasons she loves Joseph, affectionately calling him ‘Guz’, including that he’s the backbone she needs wherever she may be.
Joseph provides an equally emotional reflection on the years and experiences that the couple has been through together – the ups and the downs – saying that he couldn’t imagine doing life without her sincerity and dedication, as an artist, fellow parent and wife. He repeats the significant ‘yes’ he told her 25 years ago, and hoping for another 25 with her by his side.
