Tips to pull off mismatched bridal party dresses

Keen to mix up your bridal party’s outfits but afraid of looking disjointed? Here’s how to pull it off in style!

If you want to break from tradition and adopt a playful look when it comes to your bridal party, there’s no better way than changing up their style. Still, there’s always the risk that it’ll all go dreadfully wrong, so here are a few different ways to go about it, depending on how adventurous you are!

1. SWITCH UP THE COLOURS

You need not switch up the whole look to give your bridal party their own individual style. Opting for the same flattering dress style in different colours can look just as versatile with a little less risk. Be mindful when it comes to selecting your colour scheme, and try to stick to a maximum of three colour variations… unless rainbow is what you’re going for of course!

2. SWITCH UP THE STYLE

If you’ve got your heart set on a particular colour and prefer not to deviate from it, a perfect way to change up your bridal party’s look is to opt for different dress styles in the same colour. We all have a particular silhouette that flatters our body type the most, and this way, you give your girls the opportunity to choose a shape that they look their best in.

3. SWITCH IT ALL UP

If you’re changing things up, might as well go the whole hog and use completely different dresses for your bridal party, right? Pulled off well, different designs and colours can have a stunning affect – just make sure to stick to a specific palette or go for different tones and hues of the same colour. Cohesiveness is still key though, so make sure you get to see your maids all together before making the final selection.
