Another weekend full of happiness for another local couple! Maltese actors Ryan Galea and Maria Farrugia officially tied the knot on Saturday at St George’s Church in Qormi.
The couple, who are not only actors, but also run the Childcare Centre ‘Little Me’, have been together for 10 years. The priest who celebrated their marriage was in fact a teacher at Ryan’s old school.
The couple looked like they had a blast at the reception, having also danced to ‘I Was Born To Love You’ by the legendary band, Queen. Quite a different choice for a first dance, but it was a super one to watch! Once the song was over, a little kid joined in the fun to boogie to ‘Celebrate Good Times.’
But, it wasn’t over yet!
The ladies then joined in for ‘Jailhouse Rock’, dancing around Ryan who was sitting on a chair; this was followed by the dudes who vibed to Pitbull’s ‘Fireball’ around Maria. The couple boogied a little to ‘Can’t Touch This’, finally ending with Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believing.’
Local actors including Carlos Farrugia, Duncan Azzopardi and Rachel Micallef sent well wishes to the happy couple on their wedding day. “May God bless your marriage. Love you both,” wrote Carlos in a Facebook post.
